#1. He's not afraid of tarnishing his legacy anymore

One of the biggest complaints that fans have had about The Undertaker over the last 3-4 years is that each time he returns, his legacy only gets further tarnished. We don't blame fans for saying that because in the eyes of millions across the world, The Undertaker is a mythical, larger-than-life figure who has been a legend since their childhood.
However, watching him now doesn't make people scared of him like they used to be. It makes people scared for him after watching an old man past his prime struggle to hang in the ring, even with fellow-old superstars.
Perhaps one of his biggest biggest fears at the time was tarnishing his legacy. Now that he has been through a lot of such situations, perhaps he has lost that fear and finds no issue in signing a long-term contract again.
