#3 How grand was the farewell for other legends?

A farewell of the stature of Ric Flair is what is expected for The Phenom

Consider the farewells and retirement speeches of hall of Famers like Ric Flair, Edge, Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan:

They all were grand events in themselves. Almost everyone on the roster came out to pay their tributes to the Nature Boy on his farewell. It was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking events in WWE's history. The WWE went as far as breaking the Undertaker's character by letting him make an appearance and hug Ric Flair in the ring.

As for the others, their speeches were given special focus by being the main event of that particular episode. Emotions ran high during these speeches and the commentators clearly indicated that.

Now, consider today's Raw segment featuring The Deadman. Given the legendary status that he holds, does it even come close to any of the above-mentioned farewells? How well does it match with the others, as far as the intensity of the emotions is considered? It becomes pretty clear that this is not the way WWE would let The Undertaker go.

And, if in fact, this is the case, then it would be a major letdown by WWE, both of the fans and the Taker himself.
