5 reasons why Triple H should beat Batista at WrestleMania 35

The Animal!
The Animal!

Possibly the biggest highlight from the 25 February episode of Raw was the return of Batista as he viciously attacked the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. WWE created quite a buzz as Ric Flair turned 70 and the company was to honor the iconic wrestler with a grand birthday celebration.

Unfortunately, things didn't turn out as they should've, courtesy of a certain superstar we all are accustomed to calling the Animal. Dave Batista shocked the world and literally spoiled Ric's birthday party to be a thorn in one man's flesh, and that man is the 14-time world champion and the COO of the company, Triple H.

The WWE Creative has played its cards to perfection, and the company is looking for aces as the stage is set for an explosive encounter between 2 former Evolution teammates, Triple H and Batista.

Here we put down 5 reasons why Triple H should defeat Batista at WrestleMania 35.

#5 A win for the WWE and anyone working for the company

Let's put it straight here!

On one side we have Triple H, the COO of the company, a 14-time world champion, a man who literally personifies what the company stands for.

On the other side, we have a former world champion who left the company to discover a career in Hollywood and rightly accomplished his goal. Batista became a successful movie star, and the WWE Universe is nothing but happy for Dave.

But their happiness doesn't hide the fact that Batista is not the same. The former WWE Champion now instead is a man who returns for one match only and just for that one match leaves his shoot schedules with a promise to return as soon as he's done with this single bout.

On the other corner, is 'The Game' Triple H. He stays no matter what happens, as he literally lives for this business, and this business has a lot to thank Triple H for.

It simply doesn't make any sense to let a former WWE Superstar who now has a settled life in Hollywood to come back for one match and defeat the man who is here week in week out, a man who despite his hectic schedule finds enough time to entertain the fans worldwide every now and then with his precious in-ring performances.

Triple H needs to win this for the WWE, and literally for everyone who put their blood and sweat to make this industry truly remarkable.

#4 Batista deserves a beating for disrespecting a legend

When it comes to greats of this company, then there is one name which surely pops in many minds - the Nature Boy, Ric Flair.

Ric, as many superstars might call him, is the greatest of all time, and what The Animal did to flair on this past week's episode of Raw is utterly disrespectful. A 16-time world champion who has literally lived his life for the company deserves to be respected, and attacking him on his 70th birthday celebration is something young fans worldwide won't digest happily.

Triple H will be the voice of the WWE Universe and address Batista's actions in the sacred ring of WWE. The Game will surely play the hero card here and it's the prime job of any hero to do what the fans want, and the fans want Batista to be punished for his brutal assault on Ric Flair.

#3 Finally a win for The Game over Batista

Triple H has never beaten Batista

Triple H is one of the most accomplished WWE Superstars of all time. The Game has done it all, from winning championships to defeating legends in the company. The Cerebral Assassin has been part of many historic rivalries, and it's fair to say that The Game fared well against all of them, barring one exception.

That exception is none other than Batista. The Animal was a star on the rise in 2005, and the last hurdle Batista had to cross in order to go top was Triple H. Batista defeated Triple H thrice in a row at PPVs including their main event bout at WrestleMania 21.

The Animal even mentioned this fact on SmackDown's 1000th episode, which did make the moment a bit intense. With WWE clearly going all in on this, Triple H is surely set to be the face here, and Batista will portray the heel.

Triple H is one of the most cheered and adored superstars, and it won't be surprising to witness a crowd full of WWE enthusiasts cheering The Game's name in his clash against Dave.

The time is perfect to hand Triple H his sole victory over The Animal.

#2 It's personal now!

Batista's attack on Ric Flair has put one thing clear in the minds of fans watching worldwide - that this is personal. Ric is a man Triple H has idolized all his life, and Batista's barbaric attack on Ric will get a reaction from The Game.

Triple H is known to solve personal matters in the squared circle, and this will be no different. The last time something like this happened with Triple H, was with Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar and The Game famously feuded for a few years, and things got really intense when Brock made it personal with The Game by attacking his father-in-law, Vince McMahon, and his best friend, Shawn Michaels.

The Cerebral Assassin defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 29 in a No Holds Barred Match. A match in which Triple H's career was on the line!

With all that said, this match-up is no more just for the sake of business, as fantasy warfare just got real, and it's time to witness The Game inflict an iconic victory over Batista at the Grandest Stage Of Them All!

#1 Protect Triple H's status at WrestleMania

There is no doubt in Triple H being one of the greatest of all-time. The Game has done it all in the company and the world will miss one hell of a wrestler once The Game hangs his boots for good.

Every championship, every accolade, anything which holds even a cent of prominence in the WWE Universe's eyes has been accomplished by HHH.

Looking at Triple H's WrestleMania outings in the last 5 years, it does shock us to see that he has won just once in his last 5 WrestleMania matches. Many might argue that he doesn't need a win to prove his legacy or be counted amongst the greatest of all time, but there is one thing which should be brought into consideration here, and it is that Triple H is a key attraction and fans worldwide idolize the man.

Having him defeated on so many occasions at a stage as big as WrestleMania will surely dent his credibility at the grandest stage of them all.
