We have legends every year at WrestleMania, though the amount has noticeably decreased. As we mentioned, WWE has built WrestleMania the last five years in a way that the brand name alone sells rather than a big name superstar.

Long gone are the names where WWE needs to put in big-name draws to sell tickets. However, it's always a bonus to have legends and this year, the two main legends needed on the card are Brock Lesnar and Edge.

Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.

The latter comes as a major surprise to many who weren't aware of the rumors. Even then, the idea of Edge returning to the ring after 9 years is surreal. Brock Lesnar is important for the card since he's the WWE Champion and is expected to main event the show against Drew McIntyre.

As for Edge, he's expected to face Randy Orton. While some would argue that Orton isn't the most exciting opponent, he's a safe option to go with to give Edge a "warm-up" match for the next three years.
