Sometimes, fans wrongfully say that WWE is performance art. While there are elements of artistry in everything sports entertainers do, the truth is that WWE is a business with a strong focus on the bottom line and at profitability. Why else would WWE go to Saudi Arabia, despite the backlash of the entire world, if not to meet their financial goals?
In such a business, the most important thing is to sell tickets and make people want to come and see you wrestle. The truth of the matter is that Charlotte Flair looks good on a poster and makes people want to come, see her perform. Sometimes, that's all that there is to it.
Charlotte Flair is tall, blonde and stately, which has been the attribute of many a champion before her as well. She fits the role of 'the guy', like a Cena or Reigns do, as well.
