Maybe WWE don't have to turn Seth Rollins heel.

Between his cryptic messages during promos and the continuous speculations about where his allegiances are, what if this is all a big misunderstanding? What if WWE is intentionally scripting Rollins as a semi heel right now and then have him finally do the right thing when the moment comes?

Think about it! Besides his scathing promo to the RAW roster on the night after Survivor Series 2019, Rollins hasn't done anything that bad. He has also disassociated himself from the Authors of Pain and even offered to take them on alongside Kevin Owens, which has kept his motives intentionally vague.

With that being said and WWE seemingly not all in when it comes to Rollins' heel turn, it is perfectly reasonable that this is all a ruse. In all honesty, it's something WWE have done countless times and even pulled off this move successfully on a few occasions.

In the end, it really feels like WWE is hinting at making him a bit of an anti-hero that doesn't care about what the fans think of him. It also seems like WWE is going to have him do the right thing when the moment is right and go on from there.

Now that doesn't mean he will be the ultra heel that he was during his post Shield break, but he won't be the clean-cut babyface that he once was either.
