In June 2010, RAW GM Bret Hart was dismantled by the Nexus so badly that he was relieved of his duties.

In his place, a new Anonymous RAW GM was formed who communicated only be e-mails but gave subtle hints about who was behind the keyboard.

Speculation ran wild for months as fans wondered. Could it be Roddy Piper? Or Ted DiBiase? Or any other WWE Hall of Famer?

Eventually, this speculation turned to annoyance, as it became clear that the company had no plans to reveal the mystery authority figure.

One name that was thrown around was Kevin Nash (who had been in TNA when the gimmick started) but that never panned out.

Instead, it was eventually revealed to be Hornswoggle, a fun 'joke' that everyone in the WWE Universe forgot to laugh at.
