Amidst poor ratings and fan backlash, WWE came up with the concept of the 24/7 Title, which was heavily influenced by the Hardcore championship. The unveiling of the title was an awkward affair, as fans disliked the belt design with all their hearts. Most importantly, fans weren't sure whether WWE would be able to create the same magic with the belt that it did with the legendar y Hardcore title.

A month later, the 24/7 Title has become the most entertaining part of WWE's weekly shows. R-Truth has turned something silly into must-watch TV. He was currently voted the WWE Universe's favorite current champion, winning 27% of the votes! It's crazy how several main event storylines have taken a backseat to this mid-card title.
Although the fans didn't have many hopes when the title debuted, the situation has taken a complete U-turn and the WWE Universe eagerly awaits segments featuring the belt on a weekly basis.
