Dave Batista and Brock Lesnar faced each other way back in their Ohio Valley Wrestling days in the early 2000s

Former WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion Dave Bautista aka Dave Batista was born on January 18th, 1969. The 6'6" one-time MMA combatant is widely regarded as one of the two most important WWE Superstars of the Ruthless Aggression Era -- the other being John Cena.

The reason I've mentioned Batista's birth-date is due to the fact that "The Animal" has lately been asserting that he plans on retiring from the sport of professional wrestling this year. Batista has stated in several out-of-character interviews that he turned 50 this year, and intends to make one last run in the WWE before he bids adieu to in-ring competition altogether.

Moreover, Batista has also often mentioned the fact that he'd like to feud with Brock Lesnar in the WWE, and perhaps even use a few shades of their respective MMA backgrounds in their WWE rivalry.

Now, although Batista is expected to retire after his WrestleMania 35 "No Holds Barred" match against Triple H; The Animal would most definitely consider engaging in a big-money feud -- this time against Brock Lesnar -- before retiring from professional wrestling...
