#1. Karrion Kross relinquishes the WWE NXT title, Four-way match announced

Karrion Kross won the WWE NXT Championship from Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver: XXX. However, his title reign was over before it could truly begin.

Kross suffered a shoulder injury at TakeOver. A report from Fightful Select in the hours leading up to the latest NXT episode revealed the possibility he could relinquishing the title.

There were discussions backstage that WWE possibly be forced to take the title off of Kross. Apparently, various wrestlers backstage had heard about the idea.

This week's NXT opened as Karrion Kross sadly vacated the WWE NXT Championship due to injury. The Fightful Select report also stated that a Fatal Four-Way match to crown the new champion was the most likely outcome. NXT fans got something even better.

William Regal announced that Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, Tommaso Ciampa, and Adam Cole would face each other in a 60-Minute Fatal Four-way Iron Man Match on the "Super Tuesday" edition of WWE NXT next week.

Karrion Kross will be out for a while to rehabilitate from a separated shoulder injury. In the meantime, NXT has turned towards the veterans of the brand to steer the ship.
