WWE has been able to engage the audience with some entertaining and shocking WrestleMania moments that will last a lifetime. This year too, the company will do everything in its power to sell out the Super Dome in New Orleans and gain unparalleled viewership from the fans.
There's no doubt that there have been shocking moments in the past that nobody saw coming and now, here are five shockers that WWE could book this year at WrestleMania 34.
#5 'The Demon' defeats Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to win the Universal Championship
Finn Balor is one of the best in-ring performers on the planet and is a popular superstar among the hardcore WWE fans. The man is unfortunately sidelined from the main event picture and is roaming directionless as of now but, there could be a solid reason behind that exclusion. The possible confrontation of these three superstars in the main event of WrestleMania could be groundbreaking. Whether Finn Balor can legitimately defeat Lesnar and Reigns clean or not, his Demon gimmick certainly stands a good chance to get the better of them and claim the gold.

Carmella made history by winning the first ever Women's Money in the Bank but has never successfully cashed it in, to become the Women's Champion. Considering that the company will be focused on creating some shocking moments, this could definitely happen if they pull the trigger at the right time. Seth Rollins cashed in his opportunity at WrestleMania 31 and got a game changing response from the audience just because nobody saw it coming.
The same situation can be replicated again in Carmella's case, who has been a solid heel for the company. A shocking moment like this could etch her name in history. But this does not seem very likely and, as far as story telling is concerned, it makes sense to book Seth against Kurt Angle instead. A match of this calibre will be the right step for Seth to reclaim his position as 'the Man'.
There's no doubt that Rollins is struggling to connect with the fans as a baby face but a certain interference in this blockbuster match by 'the Lunatic Fringe' could turn both their careers upside down. AN absolutely shocking interference from Dean could get the world talking.
If WWE is looking for viewership and elevation of ratings, this moment could get them both.
#1 John Cena turns heel and retires the Undertaker with a low-blow
This match is almost definitely happening this year at the 'Show of Shows' and so, the fans will be excited about this marquee bout between two superstars who have entertained multiple generations with their personality. The WWE Universe has always wanted a heel turn from the Franchise player and while the company may have their reservations about it, there's no denying that if there's ever a moment to pull the trigger on a heel turn for John, it is now.
Imagining a possibility where the Undertaker is dominating the match, there could be a moment when 'Big Match' John drops a bombshell and turns on his supporters by low-blowing the 'Dead Man' to win the match. While this may not be appreciated by the fans, for long-term gains, this is an ideal opportunity to make business out of John as a heel, considering how they have already pushed the envelope with Roman as the face.
This moment could be a landmark opportunity to build so much heat around such a big star that John could still rule the business for years to come.
