When season 2 of the original NXT came around, the WWE Universe caught their first glimpse of Alex Riley.
With a great look and oodles of charisma, Riley had the making of a future star for sure, and was certainly helped when partnered with The Miz.
Going on his own in 2011, things seemed promising for A-Ry, but was quickly forgotten by the company, becoming a commentator instead, before his release.
As fans wondered why the company was so quick to give up on the rookie, one rumor that circulated was that John Cena had an issue with the man himself.
Since his release, Riley has all but confirmed the rumor was true, though he didn't go into specifics about why the 16-time World Champion had such a problem with the former WWE Superstar.
