#4 The Godfather
Whilst the Game's loss to the Brooklyn Brawler was a true upset, perhaps Triple H should've seen it coming, as something very similar had happened not long ago.
In March 2000, the King of Kings faced off against the Godfather on SmackDown, in what should've been an easy contest for the 14-time World Champion.
Much like his loss to the Brawler though, interference proved to be his undoing, as the Big Show, led by Shane McMahon was able to decimate the Game, leading to a Godfather victory.
This was all part of the build to WrestleMania 2000, with a McMahon in every corner, and despite this loss plaguing his mind, Triple H was able to retain his WWF Championship at the show of shows.
And whilst few expected a win from the Godfather, remember that this man also defeated The Undertaker once on RAW.
