When the Authors of Pain became the tag team champions, I personally was really happy and thought that their reign as champions will help the tag team division of RAW but it has been a complete opposite.
It was thought they will have a dominant run with the tag team titles but it quickly got turned into joke fodder a few weeks later.
Drake Maverick, the manager of AOP, who was the laughing stock at first after pissing himself during a match is the main culprit behind making AOP look like a joke.
If WWE would have not separated AOP with their former manager Paul Ellering it could have been a completely different story and fans would have loved to see AOP as the tag champs.
As much as it hurts to give up on AOP so early in their current run as champions, it's obvious that they aren't going to be taken seriously and their credibility will be further damaged.
Bobby Roode and Chad Gable have so much more momentum than AOP right now and WWE should make a decision to make Roode and Gable the tag team champions.
Making Roode and Gable the champions will also set the stage to break up the team of Roode and Gable at a later stage.
