Drew McIntyre has been a heel for the entirety of his WWE main roster career. From his run as Vince McMahon's chosen one to be Shane McMahon's bodyguard, the Scotsman has not yet explored the good side on RAW or SmackDown. Therefore, him turning face is extremely fresh.

It is the right time as well, with the crowd behind him. But this will not be McIntyre's first shot as a good guy, not by a long shot. He has been universally loved as a babyface in many places, including NXT.

McIntyre spent around eight months on the Black and Yellow brand and reigned as the top face, winning the NXT Championship at Takeover: Brooklyn III. It was also at his expense that the Undisputed Era was born.

But since he made the move to RAW, McIntyre has only been a villain. That is what makes his face turn even more exciting. This will be the first time that a solid part of the WWE Universe will be seeing Drew McIntyre as a face and based on past evidence, it will be a blast.
