5 signs that Vince McMahon won't allow Goldberg to defeat The Fiend at WWE Super ShowDown 2020

#3 This is probably a one-off appearance from Goldberg

While everyone was assuming Goldberg to have retired from in-ring competition, he returned to WWE for a match against The Undertaker at last year's Super ShowDown in a match that both the Superstars would like their fans to forget. After that, we saw Goldberg squash Dolph Ziggler at Summerslam 2019, mostly to improve his image after the forgettable match against the Dead Man.

Clearly, Vince McMahon calls back Goldberg as a special attraction for his major shows. This time again, he is returning for a match at Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia. WWE has been known to rely on their legends for these shows in the Middle-East, due to their sheer popularity and Goldberg's return might just be another case of the same.

This also means that this will probably just be a one-off match for the Hall of Famer and he might not be sticking around after that. In this case, it is highly unlikely that he would be chosen as the Superstar to finally defeat The Fiend, who hasn't been pinned since his debut. More on that in the next slide!
