April is the season of change in the world of WWE: WrestleMania arrives, NXT Superstars get called up to the main roster and the superstar shake-up shakes things up!

The most recent superstar shake-up has laid the foundation for a year's worth of storylines.

Raw acquired Jinder Mahal, The Riott Squad, Bobby Roode, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and more, whereas Smackdown added names such as Andrade 'Cien' Almas, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy and Asuka to their roster.

There is no doubt that Smackdown Live got the better additions which gives way to a plethora of dream matches.

So, here are five Smackdown Live matches made possible by the superstar shake-up!

#5 - AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy

Two ultra-athletic guys such as Hardy and Styles could give way to a quick-paced edge of the seat encounter!

The Charismatic Enigma arrived at the house that AJ Styles built during the superstar shake-up, defeating former rival Shelton Benjamin in his return to the blue brand.

The two have clashed before in Impact Wrestling in 2013, but both superstars are different than what they were a few years ago; AJ Styles has solidified himself as the greatest in-ring wrestler on the planet while Jeff Hardy has made a strong comeback after a few lacklustre years on Impact.

This match could easily main-event any PPV and could include many death-defying spots considering the athletic prowess of both superstars.

#4 - Andrade 'Cien' Almas vs Daniel Bryan

Almas did not make a splash as soon as he arrived like many others, but with time and an essential heel turn along with the addition of a valet in the form of Zelina Vega, he made himself one of NXT's biggest stars.

He has captured coveted titles around the world, like the NXT Championship and the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. His amazing athletic abilities coupled with his heelish manoeuvres makes him a complete package.

Daniel Bryan, on the other hand, is an established star making his much-awaited comeback. The two could recapture the magic of the match between Almas and Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia.

The outcome of this match could go both ways, solidifying the return of Daniel Bryan or announcing that the El Idolo has arrived!

#3 - SAnitY vs The New Day

<p>
Talk about a clash of styles!

The stable originated on 12 October 2016, originally composed of Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Nikki Cross, and Sawyer Fulton. After Fulton suffered an injury the following month, he was replaced by Killian Dain on 18 January 2017.

Young, Wolfe and Dain have been called up to Smackdown Live while Nikki Cross is still in NXT as a singles competitor. The crazy maniacal style of Sanity against the crazy hilarious style of the New Day is a perfect mismatch, but the combined talent could put on a stellar match with funny moments and engaging sequences.

Giving Sanity a victory over the popular New Day will establish them as a strong stable on the blue brand.

#2 - AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe and AJ styles have battled many times before.

This could possibly be the best match on the list from a pure wrestling perspective.

The Samoan Submission machine and the Phenomenal One have battled many times before on Impact Wrestling and elsewhere. The two were involved in a five-star triple threat match with Christopher Daniels at TNA's Unbreakable 2005.

Samoa Joe named AJ Styles during his promo on Smackdown Live after destroying Sin Cara, possibly foreshadowing the inevitable encounter.

The two could weave together a brilliant in-ring storyline and match it with their extraordinary moves and thrilling sequences. If this match is for the WWE Championship, the high stakes will make this even more special!

#1 - Daniel Bryan vs The Miz

Br

During the Raw Superstar Shakeup, Angle informed The Miz that he would be heading to Smackdown Live at the request of former Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan.

With The Miz coming back and Bryan staying on the blue brand, this feud is essentially set in stone.

But we do not have to wait much longer for the pay off of the feud that has been built up for many months as WWE announced that the two will fight during the UK Tour in mid-may.

It's funny to note that Daniel Bryan was the rookie of the Miz during the old NXT show considering that Bryan is much more experienced than the A-lister.

Now, without the Miztourage to help him, Miz has to fight like the changed man he says he has become after the birth of his daughter.

So, that's it for the list, what other dream matches can you think of?
