WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has been one of the most dominant figures in the company over the last year or so. He has finally started living up to his reputation as one of the baddest wrestlers on the planet.

Lashley's fortunes changed last year when he formed The Hurt Business with MVP, going on to win the United States Championship. He then went on to win the big prize, the WWE Championship, when he defeated The Miz on the March 1st episode of RAW.

Since winning his first world title, Bobby Lashley has defeated The Miz, Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre in title matches and has also brushed aside a few other RAW Superstars in non-title matches. The WWE Champion has been impressive so far in his first world title reign and has so far looked unbeatable.

But there may be a few superstars that could take the WWE Championship from The Almighty. Let's take a look at 5 Superstars who could dethrone Bobby Lashley as WWE Champion:

#5 The Fiend could dethrone Bobby Lashley as WWE Champion

WWE fans have been up in arms about how the company has used The Fiend over the last few months, and many have written off the character. The Fiend hasn't been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 37 when he faced Randy Orton on night 2 of The Show of Shows.

Orton and Alexa Bliss - who was a part of the storyline - are currently in different feuds and it's unlikely that WWE will run back the Orton-Fiend-Bliss storyline.

With Bobby Lashley trouncing every human on the RAW roster, perhaps a demonic character like The Fiend could take the WWE Championship away from him. A feud between Bobby Lashley and The Fiend could be interesting as it could showcase another side of the WWE Champion apart from his dominant in-ring ability.

Bray Wyatt recently teased a return with the tweet below.

Lashley and Wyatt haven't been in a feud against each other in the past and have never even faced each other in a WWE ring.

#4 Damian Priest could dethrone Bobby Lashley as WWE Champion

Bobby Lashley's reign as WWE Champion could possibly help push a younger superstar, someone like Damian Priest. Priest has ascended quickly in WWE since signing for the company in 2018. After three years at NXT, where he won the North American Championship once, Priest was called up to the main roster earlier this year.

He put on a strong showing in the men's Royal Rumble match, eliminating four Superstars - the joint-highest in the match. Priest then joined forces with Bad Bunny, and the two teamed up to face The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37 and delivered an exciting match.

The former NXT star then defeated The Miz at WrestleMania Backlash in a Lumberjack match, which will be mostly remembered for the zombies.

It seems that WWE sees a lot of promise in Priest, who could perhaps be pushed right to the top and face Bobby Lashley sometime later this year. There's already a backstory in place for a potential match between Damian Priest and Bobby Lashley in the future as the WWE Champion eliminated Priest at Royal Rumble earlier this year.

Both women's title holders, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, are young superstars who won the titles this year, which perhaps indicates that WWE wants to build new stars. What better way to build a new star than defeating an all-conquering champion like Bobby Lashley?

#3 Keith Lee could dethrone Bobby Lashley as WWE Champion

Keith Lee and Bobby Lashley were originally meant to face each other for the United States Championship at this year's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, in a triple threat match that also included Riddle. Lee, sadly, had to pull out of the match due to an injury. Reports suggested that Lee, and not Riddle, was booked to win the US title from Lashley at the pay-per-view.

Lee hasn't been on WWE television since February and has been sidelined due to injury, and there's no indication when he will be back. The former NXT Champion has promised his fans that he will return.

Lee has had a few explosive moments on WWE television, first at the 2019 Survivor Series and then in the men's Royal Rumble match in 2020.

Bobby Lashley has overpowered most of his opponents with his size, strength and speed. One of the few superstars that can match up with the WWE Champion on these three parameters has to be Keith Lee, who is also incredibly agile for a wrestler his size.

Lee seems to have a lot of fans who are unhappy that he isn't being used on WWE television. A victory over Bobby Lashley to win his first WWE Championship would certainly help fans forget about the time Lee has spent on the sidelines. Lee could perhaps answer another one of Lashley's Open Challenges and defeat the WWE Champion.

#2 Brock Lesnar could dethrone Bobby Lashley as WWE Champion

A match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar has to happen. It just has to. The two have had identical journeys in their careers, from pro wrestling to MMA and back, and are impressive physical specimens.

This match has been talked about for a long time and Bobby Lashley has been vocal about wanting to face The Beast. Here's what the WWE Champion had to say earlier this year:

"The Beast. Where is he? He trapped in the woods somewhere? Is he hiding? Is he getting ready for this big return, like where you at bro? Like everybody knows you know I know, Drew [McIntyre] knows everybody knows that when Brock [Lesnar] comes back, there's going to be a lot to answer to, and I welcome it."

Brock Lesnar is no longer contracted to WWE, but he should return to the company once crowds are back in the arenas.

We could perhaps see a trilogy of matches between Lesnar and Bobby Lashley where the title is hot potatoed between the two, and maybe even add Drew McIntyre to the mix.

#1 Roman Reigns could dethrone Bobby Lashley as WWE Champion

While Bobby Lashley has dominated RAW since becoming WWE Champion earlier this year, Roman Reigns has run roughshod on Smackdown for nearly a year. Reigns has had perhaps his best year as a WWE Superstar, showing an entirely different side of himself on television.

The Tribal Chief has held the Universal Championship since the Payback pay-per-view, which took place in August 2020. He has annihilated everyone in his path and may soon run out of opponents on the Blue brand.

Reigns could perhaps be drafted to RAW later this year, which could see him come face-to-face with Bobby Lashley on the Red brand.

This will be a mouthwatering match-up as the two Superstars have momentum on their side, are similar in size, and have two exceptionally gifted mouthpieces in Paul Heyman and MVP, respectively.

What makes this potential feud even more exciting is that the two haven't been in a storyline with each other in 2018, which makes this a fresh feud. Bobby Lashley losing to Roman Reigns would not hurt his credibility as The Tribal Chief has been on an incredible run over the last year.
