NXT UK's standout star has been so consistently great during his time in WWE that he literally outgrew the show WWE made for wrestlers based in the U.K. and has been in NXT ever since.
But Pete Dunne also provides something different that is lacking in the main roster right now - that William Regal-esque bruiser villain quality that will undoubtedly see him become a big player on either RAW or SmackDown.
It could be argued that Dunne hasn't quite had his time in NXT yet, and he certainly seems to be edging closer and closer towards challenging for the NXT Title, but with a talent as great and as young as Dunne is the sky really is the limit and truthfully he should be aiming for the Universal or WWE Titles.
Dunne is also one of the more technically sound wrestlers in WWE, if not the world, and he will be more than capable of filling the shoes left by brilliant in-ring competitors like Buddy Murphy and Aleister Black. I just imagined Pete Dunne Vs Daniel Bryan (if he returns), Pete Dunne Vs Edge, heck, even Pete Dunne Vs Randy Orton would be money!
