#1 The Fiend versus Finn Balor

Bray Wyatt versus Finn Balor. Part two. Who wins?

The reason why WWE never followed up on the heated rivalry between The Fiend and Finn Balor is obvious in hindsight, but that doesn't mean it doesn't somewhat cheat the fans out of a match we were looking forward to. It was a huge blow to the WWE Universe, who were dying to see The Fiend go one on one with Balor's Demon persona in a rematch.

Unfortunately for the WWE Universe, Balor took time off after his loss at SummerSlam and reappeared a couple of months later on NXT. Wyatt, on the other hand, had his decisive win over Balor used as a way to catapult him into a Universal Title feud against Seth Rollins, which culminated in him winning The Universal Title.

With that in mind, and the two Superstars now on different brands, it's highly unlikely that this feud will be followed up on in any capacity. Many fans are likely disappointed by this and would love to see a part two in the rivalry, but doing so would require the company to break the brand rules they have just set up.

In the end, WWE will hopefully follow up on this in the future when the landscape shifts again, but that isn't something that seems possible right now.
