Why did WWE never follow up on Becky Lynch versus Nia Jax?
Why did WWE never follow up on Becky Lynch versus Nia Jax?

The Raw before Survivor Series 2018 was one of craziest nights in WWE history and featured an army of SmackDown Superstars taking on the red brand. Unfortunately for Becky Lynch, who was set to face off against Ronda Rousey in a champion vs. champion match, she was injured by a stray punch from Nia Jax during the chaos.

Now, the accidental punch was never deemed intentional and Jax wasn't punished for the incident, but Lynch suffered a concussion as a result. This also meant she couldn't take part in the champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series, which really got fans angry over the dream match getting scrapped.

In the end, WWE never followed up on this in any meaningful way and it was disappointing to see. Seriously though, how cool would it have been to see Lynch go on on one with the woman who almost ruined her career? Wouldn't that have been some great television if WWE had only pulled the trigger on it?
