#3. Paige as an authority figure

Is Paige an authority figure for SmackDown or not?

It's no secret that Paige has gotten the short end of the stick when it came to her wrestling career and her eventual retirement due to neck problems was nothing short of upsetting. With that being said, WWE has kept her in their fold for quite some time now and have even used her in different capacities.

In fact, between being an analyst for Backstage on Fox Sports, participating in pay per view panels and acting as a manager for a few teams, Paige has done it all. Paige has even been a authority figure on and off in the last couple of years, which is why she ended up on this list.

While Paige was never confirmed as a General Manager of any kind, she announced via Skype on a March 2020 episode of Raw that Bayley would compete in a six-pack challenge at WrestleMania 36. Of course it was great to see Paige back on screen and involved in storyline, but it became disappointing when WWE never followed up on it.
