Finn Balor was the first ever Universal champion and while the Irishman vowed to go after the universal title upon his return the past year has been underwhelming for the stars.

Finn Balor had the charisma, skill set and the in-ring talent needed in a top talent but WWE's efforts in pushing reigns has largely kept Finn on the back burner. Balor had won a couple of matches against Roman and he was considered to be that he would be the one being pushed but that was not to be the case as Finn was relegated to the mid card.

WWE have invested so much in Reigns that it limits the opportunities for the other superstars in the locker room.

#1 Seth Rollins

Current Intercontinental and Raw tag team Champion

The current Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins had a phenomenal run as WWE champion. The fans believed that WWE were ready to get behind Rollins as in the new face of the company.

However even when the shield reunited it wasn't so much about Seth or Ambrose as it was about Roman Reigns. Rollins seems to be a natural face with his undeterred conviction being his biggest asset.

Rollins has always delivered best in the ring but the fact that the company was more interested in pushing Roman saw him fall down the pecking order.
