#4 Liv Morgan called out WWE over a ‘trash’ article

Asuka, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Shayna Baszler battled it out in a six-woman Elimination Chamber match to determine a new number one contender for Becky Lynch’s WWE RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.

Baszler eliminated all five of her opponents to set up a WrestleMania match with Lynch, which she ultimately lost.

In the build-up to Elimination Chamber, one particular sentence on WWE.com was not very well received by Morgan.

“Both Morgan and Logan have shown the WWE Universe new sides to themselves in recent weeks, but neither made as big of an impact as their former leader, Riott, did in her shocking return to Raw.”

The Riott Squad member took exception to the WWE match preview, writing on Twitter that the article was “trash”.

Morgan, who was the fourth Superstar to be eliminated by Baszler, went on to defeat Natalya at WrestleMania 36 in a six-minute match on the PPV’s kickoff show.

She has since reformed The Riott Squad with Ruby Riott.
