Dana Brooke’s participation in the inaugural women’s WWE Royal Rumble match was confirmed on January 12, 2018.

Two days before the pay-per-view took place on January 28, a Twitter user pointed out that Brooke had been left off the poster.

At the time, only 18 Superstars had been announced for the match. However, WWE’s poster of 20 Superstars did not include Brooke. Instead, it advertised the other 17 confirmed entrants, as well as Alexa Bliss (ineligible), Charlotte Flair (ineligible), and Paige (injured).

Brooke took to Twitter to state, “WWE loves to forget me.”

The former Titus Worldwide member entered the WWE Royal Rumble from the #8 position. She eliminated Kairi Sane during her three-minute appearance before being thrown over the top rope by Torrie Wilson.

That year’s WWE Royal Rumble is best remembered for the debut of Ronda Rousey. The Baddest Woman on the Planet appeared after the match, which Asuka won, and pointed to the WrestleMania sign.
