The Undertaker has remained one of Vince McMahon's closest friends. However, throughout his legendary career, he often raised his voice as the locker room leader. As a result, it's not surprising to hear that The Phenom has had multiple disputes with the WWE Chairman.

For example, the two men were involved in a heated argument shortly after the infamous Montreal Screwjob incident. While speaking on The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Undertaker revealed that he was unhappy with the way McMahon took the title from Bret Hart.

"I was pissed ... I was pissed about the whole thing because I felt like there, I possibly could've been used to get what we needed," said The Undertaker. "Take Shawn out of this, let me do it, and then I'll do business on the other side, and I think Bret probably would've went for that."

He further revealed that he personally approached McMahon to make sure that such an incident would never happen again.

'''If this kind of s*** happens again, you've got to involve me here, because it doesn't have to go down like this,'" The Undertaker continued. "And he [Vince McMahon] agreed. I guess it all worked out. It was sad. I'm really tight with Bret. Bret could've done some things differently; Shawn could've done things differently; Vince could've done things differently."

McMahon seemingly listened to The Undertaker's message, as the Montreal Screwjob remains a unique incident. Decades later, the friendship between McMahon and The Undertaker continues to this day. The Phenom still occasionally appears on WWE programming, even after he retired in 2020.
