Former Impact World Champion, Brian Cage is no longer with Impact Wrestling after his contract expired after the Hard to Kill PPV in January. He has been healing from injuries ever since, but he recently revealed through his Instagram that he's now cleared for action. Could AEW be his new home?

Brian Cage in AEW?

For those who might not remember, Cage was a part of the "All In" pay-per-view on September 1, 2018 which was promoted by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks. The independent PPV was a huge success, being the first independent wrestling event in the United States to sell 10,000 tickets since 1993.

Brian Cage was the part of the 19-person Over Budget Battle Royal at the show which was to determine the #1 contender for the ROH World Championship. While he did not win the match, he was one of the biggest names in the match and looked all set to sign with AEW last year and appear at the very first Double or Nothing PPV. While that did not happen then, he is one of those to certainly sign with the promotion in the future and could appear as soon as this Saturday in the Casino Ladder Match, as long as he is fit and healthy to compete!
