The fact that Big E is confined to the tag team division is a shame. His run in NXT as a single superstar is still one of the most memorable parts of his career, and if WWE pushes him up to the main event scene, it would be a treat to watch.
Complaints about how New Day have become stale have been poking up for some time.
Having one of the members in the main event picture will certainly shake things up. It will be a fresh and new approach from WWE’s side, and the involvement of Chris Jericho adds more fun to the whole storyline as New Day vs. Jericho and Owens would be guaranteed entertainment.
