This one should come as no surprise to anyone. The Almighty Bobby Lashley has all the physical attributes to be the dominant king of WWE much like Brock Lesnar. Unfortunately, poor booking and a lack of charisma have derailed Lashley's push multiple times.

However, as of late it looks like WWE have finally realised that Lashley's potential lies in being a silent monster instead of going on dates with his 'wife' Lana. With MVP playing Lashley's mouth-piece, it looks like WWE have taken inspiration from the pairing of Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar.

Bobby Lashley was Vince McMahon's pet project before the Superstar left the company in 2006. However, with reports suggesting that WWE is planning a 'dream match' between Lesnar and Lashley, it looks like Vince McMahon sees the potential in having Lashley be the one to replace Brock Lesnar.

Here is what Tom Colohue stated:

I do know that there is a desperate need among some parts of the executive level in the WWE to get the Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match coming. And as I have reported here previously, Brock Lesnar has been pencilled in for an appearance around SummerSlam, which means it is certainly possible that we are going to get that match.
