Drew McIntyre was part of the King of the Ring tournament, but failed to even make it through the first round, which was a huge surprise to the WWE Universe.

McIntyre, who was once the favorite to become the Universal Champion by the end of the year, is currently without any meaningful feud or direction. Without a legitimate feud, McIntyre could struggle to stay relevant on the upper card.

Since McIntyre forged a team with Baron Corbin in the not too distant past, it’s possible that he isn’t very happy with the success Corbin has had over the past few months.

This could result in McIntyre interrupting Corbin in an attempt to even the score.
