Sami Zayn has been away from in-ring competition since June!

The underdog from the underground, Sami Zayn has not been on RAW since June due to a gruesome injury. His last televised match was against Bobby Lashley at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Though he portrayed a heel character on WWE TV back then, he can return as a face to join the team of Finn Balor and Elias.

The reason why Zayn would align himself with the faces could be revealed as Bobby Lashley. After all, the Dominator was the reason why he had to stay out of the ring for such a long time.

To add more emotion to this story, Sami can also say that Lashley was the one who was responsible for Kevin Owens' absence as the Almighty Bobby Lashley had injured Sami Zayn's best friend on an episode of Monday Night RAW.
