#3 AJ Styles - AEW/NJPW

Negotiations between Styles and WWE have been slow.
Negotiations between Styles and WWE have been slow.

When AJ Styles joined WWE at the 2016 Royal Rumble, fans were rightly shocked.

The poster child for TNA, Styles brought his incredible skill to WWE at an ideal time, and in his career has held the WWE Championship twice, one of these reigns for over a year.

Signing a three-year contract with the company, it's well-known that the Phenomenal One's contract is coming to an end soon, and it's also well-known that negotiations have been slow.

If he doesn't re-sign, there's no shortage of promotions that would be happy to sign him, such as AEW, where Styles' huge star would help bring a WWE crowd into the new company.

Or perhaps he should return to New Japan, where he had some of his best ever matches.

One thing seems for certain though: Styles won't be going back to Impact Wrestling.
