Andre The Giant Battle Royal was started 4 years back and has become a staple of the Wrestlemania event. Although it was believed to be a launching pad for upcoming stars, it is now basically just a battle royal for everyone who can't find a place on the Wrestlemania card.
Whatever the case may be, winning it is still a huge achievement and gives the Superstar winning a Wrestlemania moment to remember.
Here are 5 WWE Superstars we think deserve to win this year's edition:
#5 Elias

The most obvious choice to win this year's Andre the Giant memorial battle royal would certainly be Elias. Even though he is immensely over, the WWE have till now failed to give him any noteworthy achievement.
Elias has had programs with top stars such as Finn Balor, John Cena and Braun Strowman in the past but has failed to elevate himself to the next level. A win at the Grandest Stage of Them All will surely help him cement his place as one of the top heels of the company today.
#4 Rusev

Easily one of the most popular Superstars in WWE right now, it almost looks like the WWE are trying to curb his popularity by having him take loss after loss. Recently, the Bulgarian Brute suffered two straight losses at the hands of Shinsuke Nakamura.
Every time he makes his way to the ring, the audience erupts in "Rusev Day' chants and it is hight time WWE take the hint and start pushing Rusev as a legitimate top guy. One way to go about it would be to have him win this year's ATTGBR to get his career back on track.
#3 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler calls himself "perfection'' but unfortunately his Wrestlemania luck has been anything but that. Even though he has been a part of WWE for 12 years, he has never had a singles match at the Grandest Stage of them All and it does not look like things are going to be any different this year.
For someone who has been with the company for such a long time, Ziggler deserves a Wrestlemania moment and having him win the Battle Royal could be a way to achieve that.
#2 Johny Gargano

Many have called him the next Daniel Bryan, and with good reason. Although not as charismatic as the leader of the Yes! Movement, Gargano has the underdog babyface appeal that most fans can buy into. To add to that, Gargano is absolutely phenomenal in the ring and has a huge list of matches to prove it; his Takeover match with Almas being the prime example.
It is speculated that he will be facing his long-time friend turned foe Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver: New Orleans in his final match for NXT before jumping to the main roster. And what better way to join the main roster by winning the ATTGBR at Wrestlemania.
Even if Gargano joins the 205 live roster, it will be a huge boost for the purple brand to have a man with such a major accomplishment to come on-board.
#1 Kane

The Big Red Monster might be one of the most decorated WWE Superstars on the roster right now. A veteran in WWE, Kane has held the World Championship twice along with numerous other Championships. However, the Devil's Favorite Demon has failed to achieve anything significant in the past few years.
Kane is already 50 years old and it does not look like he will be an active wrestler for long. With speculation abound that this will be Undertaker's last Wrestlemania, maybe it is time for even Kane to hang up his boots after this.
If this does turn out to be his last Wrestlemania, then it would be a good idea to have him win the ATTGBR and solidify his career with one more achievement.
