Some of the great stars don't have a match at WrestleMania yet

We're about just one week from this year's WrestleMania, and we already have a stacked match card. However, some great performers still don't have a match at the show. These wrestlers have what it takes to be at WrestleMania, so they must have a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All. This year, WWE seems to have limited matches on the show, maybe that's the major reason behind these superstars not having a match at WrestleMania 35.

WrestleMania is usually at least a five hour show these years, so these superstars must get a match at the Show of Shows to show their amazing wrestling skills.

#5 Asuka

Her road to WrestleMania was spoiled by Charlotte Flair
Her road to WrestleMania was spoiled by Charlotte Flair

Asuka has only been a WWE Superstar for a little over two years but she’s already written her name into the company’s record books.

Her 523-day reign as NXT champion is among the longest in WWE history. She's very impressive as an in ring performer for sure. At last year's WrestleMania, Asuka was defeated for the first time in a WWE ring, but talking about this year, she might not even have a match at the event.

About a week ago, she was the SmackDown Women's Champion, but Charlotte Flair captured her title at the latest episode of SmackDown Live. She would have faced either Naomi, Carmella, Sonya Deville, or Mandy Rose for the Smackdown Women's Championshp at WrestleMania 35.

Her path to WrestleMania was crystal clear until this week's SmackDown. However, we cannot disagree that she's heavily talented, and deserves a match at the grandest show WWE has to offer.

We're still one week away from WrestleMania, so she still has a chance to have a match at WrestleMania 35.

#4 Kevin Owens

Looking at how Kevin Owens' journey has transpired, the Prizefighter has been successful in gravitating tremendous attention from fans and critics alike, with legions of supporters considering him the modern anti-hero.

There's no denying that the former Universal Champion is arguably one of the most valuable performers in all WWE today. Because of his overall skills, Owens has solidified his position in the company as the last of his kind.

He started his amazing career by defeating John Cena in his debut match, which is an excellent achievement itself. Uptill Fastlane, Kevin Owens was in the WWE title picture, but since then, he has been directionless.

He is one of the few performers who can even main event WrestleMania, but unfortunately, he's not yet inserted into the WrestleMania 35 match card. We all know that it'll be great to see him compete at WrestleMania.

#3 Dean Ambrose

He must compete at WrestleMania before he departs
He must compete at WrestleMania before he departs

Earlier this year, WWE announced in a statement that Dean Ambrose was to leave the promotion in April, after WrestleMania 35. Ambrose was reportedly unhappy with his character and will leave the company after a successful run, where he won the World Championship, as well as other titles.

He's as talented as his Shield brothers, but WWE hasn't used him as a main eventer since 2016. Perhaps, Seth Rollins is scheduled to brawl against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, but Dean Ambrose doesn't even have a match at the show.

Dean's run in the WWE was decent until 2017, but then he suffered an injury and later WWE spoiled his run by turning him into a boring bad guy. WWE must realize that Dean Ambrose must be used at WrestleMania, as it's going to be his final WrestleMania before he departs from the company.

#2 The Undertaker

It's truly astonishing how long The Undertaker has been in this business with so much dedication. Mark William Calaway will forever be remembered as a legend in pro-wrestling because of his exceptional gimmick and his illustrious career that started in 1989 and is still active. The Undertaker became a household name thanks to the way he executed his gimmick and created an aura of invincibility that is matched by none, evident by his WrestleMania streak.

He has been an essential part of WrestleMania since last 18 years at least. He's the most consistent performer at the Show of Shows. A WrestleMania without the Undertaker seems impossible. Undertaker revealed in his latest Instagram post that he has lost some pounds, so he's probably in shape to fight one last match at his yard. In fact, he's only at #2 because of his old age, which makes it harder to believe that he is still capable of wrestling.

#1 John Cena

John Cena is missing from the WrestleMania match card

John Cena is a living legend. He is one of the greatest WWE Superstar to have ever emerged from World Wrestling Entertainment. Whether it is delivering promos, or putting forth new story-lines or bringing the best out of his opponents, Cena never fails to amaze the WWE Universe. He carries a larger than life image and has headlined several PPV's throught his entire WWE career.

John Cena is a 16 time world champion, and he has the most title wins at WrestleMania. Last year, he was the one who brought the Undertaker back to the squared circle.

It's actually quite surprising that he doesn't have a match at WrestleMania. He has been the face of the company since a decade at least. WrestleMania without John Cena is clearly incomplete. WWE needs to add John Cena to the card at this year's WrestleMania.
