Batista has unfinished business in the WWE

It's probably fairly safe to assume that the WWE intended on bringing Batista back for a WrestleMania clash with Triple H at this year's Mania before Triple H got injured, especially considering the two men took part in one of the most talked about moments on SmackDown 1000 late last year.

With Triple H's current position for the show still unknown, it would probably still be within the company's best interest to get Batista back on television. Creative can always have a back-up plan for the former World Heavyweight Champion, and given the fact that Avengers: Endgame is set for release just a few weeks after WrestleMania, the powers that be would be smart to try and cash in on that.
