On April 27, 2018, WWE will put on the first-ever 50-man Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Here are 5 Superstars who need to win the Greatest Royal Rumble.

#1 Daniel Bryan

According to the bookmakers, Daniel Bryan is the odds-on favourite to win the Greatest Royal Rumble. The fans have wanted the Aberdeen native to win a Royal Rumble match for the last 5 years, and now is as good a time as any to pull the trigger.

Bryan is currently one of the hottest commodities in the professional wrestling industry and giving him a huge victory in Saudi Arabia is a no-brainer.

#2 Rey Mysterio

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Rey Mysterio's appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble would be a one-off.

However, a WWE return in a more permanent capacity appears to be imminent for the former World Champion after he wraps up his existing commitments.

If Mysterio wins the Greatest Royal Rumble and eventually returns as a member of the Raw roster, he could easily emerge as one of Roman Reigns' first challengers for the Universal Championship.

#3 Finn Balor with an assist from The Authors of Pain

Just because he's in a title match, don't be surprised to see Finn Balor in the Greatest Royal Rumble. The match is going to have 50 competitors so expect to see just about every single one of WWE's big stars involved.

Ever since his return from injury on the Raw after WrestleMania 33, the Irishman has struggled to find his footing as a babyface. He was an excellent heel during his stint with NJPW, and a turn to the dark side could rejuvenate his career.

The Authors of Pain are also in need of a new direction after getting rid of Paul Ellering. Forming a new faction with Balor could be the best move for all parties involved.

#4 Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley is one of WWE's biggest acquisitions in recent years and has the potential to be a top star on Raw. He will be heavily protected and could find himself in a dream match with Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.

A Greatest Royal Rumble win could serve as a springboard for Lashley and immediately establish him as a contender for the Universal title. Should Vince McMahon decide to abandon the Roman Reigns project, the former ECW Champion could even capture Raw's biggest prize.

#5 Braun Strowman

Will The Monster Among Men reign supreme in Jeddah?

In many ways, 2017 was the year of Braun Strowman. The North Carolina native came into his own during a feud with Reigns and firmly established himself as one of WWE's top stars. But unlike a number of other fan favourites, Strowman also has the backing of Vince McMahon, who sees him as a pivotal part of WWE's future.

A feud between Strowman and The Undertaker is on the cards, and a Greatest Royal Rumble win would get The Monster Among Men ready for that dream match.
