When Apollo Crews joined the WWE in 2015, debuting on their NXT brand, people had high hopes.
The former Uhaa Nation had done great things on the indie scene before joining and was quickly ushered into a feud with then NXT Champion, Finn Balor.
However, this title match, just weeks into his career, proved to be Crews' pique in WWE, as the Superstar has been featured less and less each week.
Now in 2018, Crews is barely shown on TV, and with Titus Worldwide now being a thing of the past, isn't expected to be seen much more.
A title win in 2019 would definitely turn things around for Apollo, who needs a title.
Interestingly, when the brand split happened, Crews was the first in line for an Intercontinental title shot on SmackDown.
Perhaps a return to the blue brand is in the cards.
