Randy Orton is a legend in WWE, but it seems like his character went a bit stale a few years ago, and needs a shake-up and refreshing to make him relevant once again on SmackDown.
Orton is a great worker and one of the best heels in the WWE over the last two decades. But a victory for Orton at Royal Rumble 2019 in the 30-man battle royal should be one of the last options for WWE.
Firstly, Orton doesn't need a Royal Rumble win to get back into the WWE Championship reckoning, while him being a heel against another heel in Daniel Bryan, the current WWE Champion, doesn't bode well for him.
Secondly, the Royal Rumble win should go to a Superstar who is either new to the main roster, has been held back for long, or to rebuild a career.
