Rob Van Dam's WWE Championship victory in 2006 was a sight to behold.

Announcing his Money in the Bank cash-in, RVD faced John Cena for the title, at ECW One Night Stand, certainly with the home-field advantage.

Appearing that Tuesday on ECW on SciFi, things got even better for the new champion, who was christened the ECW World Champion as well.

Things quickly turned south, as Van Dam was arrested for drug possession, and even referenced his accolades to officers, sullying the company's name. Losing the WWE Championship on the July 3rd edition of RAW, Van Dam would lose the ECW Championship the next night, before being suspended for 30 days.

Upon returning, the company never even hinted at a second title reign, and probably regretted making RVD champion in the first place.
