The build up to the WrestleMania 17 bout between Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon was fascinating. There were so many variables heading into the match that nobody quite knew what to expect in Houston. However, what we got was nothing short of storytelling brilliance. In fact, you could argue that as many as five rivalries were blown off in one night.

One of those was the burning hatred between Trish and Stephanie, which stemmed from the relationship that Stratus had been having with Steph's father Vince. It all culminated with Trish finally completing her heel turn, which led to an infuriated Stephanie taking matters into her own hands and beginning a brawl.
