The Mexican Superstar was once a major future prospect in WWE when he won the first-ever 40-men Royal Rumble match in history. Del Rio went on to hold both the World Heavyweight Title and the WWE Title on several occasions. He was ultimately released from the company but was brought back in 2015. By the end of 2016, he exercised his opt-out clause, claiming that WWE didn't deliver on the main event promises that were made to him.
After his departure, Del Rio was seen demonizing Triple H and WWE in a series of videos that also featured WWE Diva Paige, who was involved with the former WWE Champion at the time. Looking at the kind of profanities Del Rio hurled at Triple H in his infamous video series is enough for a fan to wonder whether The Game will ever give him another chance to come back to the company.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
