RAW started well on the road to Hell in a Cell 2021, and the last two weeks have been better than the entire period between WrestleMania and WrestleMania Backlash.
There are high-stakes match-ups that will take place on this week's episode of RAW, and a lot of what we will see will center around the build to Hell in a Cell. Let's begin with perhaps the most important match on RAW tonight and a few possible twists that could arise:
#5. A twist in the main event of RAW?

15 shocking wrestling couples - Find out now!
RAW had the wrong main event last week. It was a Women's Tag Team Title match between Natalya and Tamina against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. It's easy to assume why it wasn't a great one.
The opening match, however, was a different story. It was a babyface vs. babyface bout between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston - the man who last pinned WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.
Kingston wasn't happy about McIntyre constantly asking for another WWE title shot, so it was simple - a number one contender's match on RAW would determine Lashley's Hell in a Cell opponent.
It was all going well until the WWE Champion decided to interfere, causing a double disqualification. This didn't sit well with authority figure Adam Pearce, who booked a rematch for the following week.
He even warned Bobby Lashley that if he or MVP even made their presence known at ringside, a 90-day suspension without pay would ensue. Now, there seems to be a clear-cut route to determine his Hell in a Cell opponent on RAW.
But is it going to be as straightforward as we think? Drew McIntyre is the expected winner, but what if there's yet another controversial finish without interference? This time, a non-finish that results in a stalemate could take place, dragging this on further.
It may even require a stipulation match down the line to determine who the next WWE Championship challenger is.
#4. Could a shocking title change occur on RAW?

AJ Styles and Omos will have another defense of the RAW Tag Team Championships. They've been entangled in a rather underwhelming feud against Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
It went from bad to worse last week, as the controversial Jaxson Ryker pinned two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles. While Omos chased Elias down and sent him through the stage, he has a big task in hand.
The RAW Tag Team Championships will be on the line, and after defeating The New Day, Styles and Omos have to face fresher opponents.
One can only hope that we don't see a title change, but the surprise could happen. Given how directionless the RAW Tag Team division is, it might not even make much of a difference. Not all of Styles' title reigns in WWE have set the world on fire, but this is without a doubt his most underwhelming Championship run.
With that said, a Championship on Jaxson Ryker may not be a good idea, unless WWE is planning to turn AJ Styles and Omos face.
#3. Will Reginald vs. Shayna Baszler on RAW end with a twist?

In what was a very anticlimactic finish to RAW last week, Shayna Baszler took Reginald by his collar after losing her Tag Team Title match and told him that she would face him on the Red brand next week.
Baszler was sick of Reginald, who unintentionally cost her and Nia Jax another opportunity to win the Women's Tag Team Championship on RAW. This won't be the first intergender singles match we're seeing in WWE, and who better for the spot than Reginald?
Now here's what's interesting. Shayna Baszler has had a bad run on RAW since April, always taking the fall when her team suffered a defeat. Ideally, this should be a squash match that ends with The Queen of Spades choking out Reginald on RAW, but that may not be the case.
If Jax and Baszler are truly out of the title picture, then they need to move on. For that, a break-up tease might be the direction that WWE goes for, with Nia Jax inadvertently helping Reginald pick up the upset victory on RAW.
#2. What chaos will unfold on Miz TV on RAW?

The Miz is back on RAW for the first time since WrestleMania Backlash, where he was presumed dead after being consumed by the lumberjack zombies. Jokes aside, it's good to have him back, and despite the ACL injury rumors, he will appear to host a special edition of Miz TV.
His guests will be the current and former RAW Women's Champions Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair. After the latter defeated Asuka (making the recent tally 1-1), The Queen was handed a RAW Women's title shot, and at Hell in a Cell, Ripley will face Flair in a WrestleMania 36 rematch.
It's going to be an interesting segment, with Charlotte Flair's recent work on RAW being considered some of the best of her career. The victims of this segment are likely going to be The Miz and John Morrison, who we fully expect to take another fall.
The extent of The A-Lister's supposed injury will be revealed, but a surprise could take place as Rhea Ripley takes him out and writes him off TV this week on RAW.
#1. Xavier Woods takes on Randy Orton on RAW, but could the outcome be different?

This should be an interesting match on RAW. Last week, Xavier Woods had the match of the night against Randy Orton's partner Riddle, and it ended with an incredible RKO by The King of Bros.
A tribute to his tag team partner Orton, Riddle used the most lethal finisher in WWE. This week, the New Day member has another big task as he has to face the man to who that move belongs - Randy Orton.
R-K-Bro hasn't been too active recently, with singles matches taking over. However, we expect to see Riddle at ringside cheering on his tag team partner. With Kofi Kingston busy with the main event, his presence seems unlikely. Will Woods manage to put on a great effort against Orton as he did with the latter? Or will he suffer another devastating defeat?
Given the odds that are stacked against him, a more surprising and entertaining result would be one where Xavier Woods gets the shock victory over the WWE legend on RAW.
