A lot of wrestling fans, experts, and even journalists assumed that the King of the Ring tournament was a device to finally get Drew McIntyre over, in a mighty big way. And then, he would crash out of the very first round, thanks to Ricochet. This could only mean that McIntyre will be out in full force, seeking retribution.
One would assume that Ricochet will be one of the men who will go all the way to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, which is when he will likely square off against someone like Andrade. But before the dream match can even take place, I have a feeling that McIntyre will destroy Ricochet, grounding him to a pulp. And this will lead to the coronation of Andrade as the King of the Ring.
In this way, not only does Andrade become a top star, Ricochet and Drew McIntyre can enter a program that stretches out all the way till Survivor Series and once they've elevated one another through this feud, they can potentially challenge for the Universal Championship down the line too. Everybody wins, in this case.
