The Young Bucks finally wins the big one in an excellent match at AEW Full Gear.

After months of failing to win the AEW Tag Team Championships, The Young Bucks were super kicking everyone and everything in All Elite Wrestling. They were so desperate to win the titles they were willing to give up challenging for the title if they lost. Could we have another member of The Elite missing out on title opportunities? Unlike Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks were successful at AEW Full Gear.

The match was one of the best tag matches of the entire year, arguably even better than the tag match at AEW Revolution between The Young Bucks and Adam Page & Kenny Omega. This match was like a love letter to tag team wrestling with tributes to DIY, Hart Foundation, Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz, and the Steiner Brothers. It ended with FTR trying to go high flying and being met by a Superkick instead. The Young Bucks finally have won the AEW World Tag Team Championship clean.

It seems like FTR, and the Young Bucks should continue their long term feud. Who doesn’t want to see a rematch? The tag team division is clearly the strength of the company and The Young Bucks will lead it well going forward after AEW Full Gear.
