#3 The entire Elite Deletion match at AEW Full Gear

The firework fight was interesting, to say the least, at AEW Full Gear.

At this point, it wouldn't be wrong to say that Matt Hardy has become synonymous with cinematic matches. At AEW Full Gear, we had the latest in the long series of Hardy Compound Cinematic matches. The Elite Deletion Match was an entertaining match between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara, which had appearances from Private Party, Santana and Ortiz to make this seem more like a multi-man tag team match. Then it got even weirder at Elite Deletion.

We had fireworks used as weapons. We had Gangrel appearing in 2020 to continue a feud with Hurricane Helms. We had the reporter Gregory Helms thrown into a lake. This was when the match moved into the Hardy garage. Then we had many brutal chair shots and some painful-looking table spots inside the Hardy garage. After a brutal looking chair shot to the head, Matt Hardy finally defeated Sammy Guevara. The match ended and then Señor Benjamin took out the trash can that had Sammy Guevara inside.

This seems to be the end of the feud at AEW Full Gear. But it proves Matt Hardy can still surprise and entertain in 2020. This is great to see after their shocking match at AEW All Out, and it is only fair that their feud finally got a proper ending.
