On January 13, 2020, R-Truth broke the wrestling internet by doing something no man in the RAW locker room could have ever dreamt of doing against The Beast.
During an in-ring promo involving Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, R-Truth interrupted The Beast’s advocate and vowed to enter the Royal Rumble to eliminate Heyman.
Once Heyman clarified that he won’t be part of the Rumble and instead Lesnar would be the first entrant, Truth decided to take back his words.
The Rapping Superstar found himself taken to “Sioux Falls City”, after which he lost his 24/7 Championship to an opportunistic Mojo Rawley.
After the hilarious segment came to an end, fans could not help but think of Truth eliminating Lesnar from the Royal Rumble match or the two facing each other in the ring someday. The Beast himself has been reported to have shown interest in working with Truth in a segment or two again.
If that’s the case, then no one can stop Lesnar from getting what he wants and we could well watch Lesnar and Truth compete in the ring together someday before the two retires, giving fans an interesting and comical match involving Lesnar as they’ve never seen before.
