A WWE mainstay for over two decades, Kane is another Hall of Famer who never headlined WrestleMania. The mayor of Knox County's two biggest matches were against his storyline brother, The Undertaker.

The storyline leading up to their clash at WrestleMania 14 was a big hit amongst the younger audience and is fondly remembered to this day. Their WrestleMania 20 match saw The Undertaker return as The Deadman after three years of portraying a biker.

Rey Mysterio, a highly influential performer, was one of the pioneers of modern-day wrestling. He helped popularize the cruiserweight style of in-ring work during his stint with WCW. Mysterio then went to WWE in 2002, and became one of the hottest commodities in the company.

The luchador remains an incredibly popular babyface and was involved in a number of high-profile storylines throughout the mid-to-late '00s. He even won the 2006 Royal Rumble and captured the World Heavyweight Championship in a match also featuring Kurt Angle and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 22. However, this bout didn't get to go on last and was cut short to nine minutes.
