Ride Along has been part of the WWE Network now for a number of years and it seems that the show could be one of the best Network programmes for gaining an insight into the lives of popular Superstars.

The most recent season of the show premiered following Monday Night Raw (October 23, 2017) and saw The Shield travelling from No Mercy through to Ontario, Canada for their next live event.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were finally put into a car together and were able to talk about their lives outside of WWE and give the fans an insight into their lives. So, without any further ado, here are five things we learned from WWE Ride Along: Hounds on the Highway.

#5 Roman Reigns doesn't like Ambrose's dog

One of the coolest stories to come out of this episode was the fact that Roman Reigns apparently doesn't like Dean Ambrose's dog, Blue. Roman recalled that he went to visit Renee Young and Ambrose in Las Vegas and was being given the full tour of their house when Blue came along to say hello.

He said that Blue went straight for his feet and was trying to take his skin off. Roman was wearing socks at the time and he claimed that his feet weren't dirty so he had no idea why Dean's dog was so obsessed with them.

He said he later saw the dog backstage at Raw with Young and he seemed to be different and well behaved so he could have just caught him on a bad day.

#4 Dean Ambrose's housing situation

Dean Ambrose is known to be quite a private person when it comes to his life outside of WWE. It means that there isn't a lot known about The Lunatic Fringe when it comes to his life before he debuted in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.

Ambrose shared the fact that when he signed with FCW he had an eviction on his record so he was unable to get an apartment, which meant that he had to go on to Craigslist to get a room.

Ambrose himself admitted that he was embarrassed to live there because it was a run down room covered in cockroaches, old boating equipment and a number of household appliances.

Ambrose lived there for a number of months on a rent of $100 a week before Big Cass offered him a room and he was finally able to move out and into a place that was fit for a human to live in.

#3 Seth Rollins always drives

It is common knowledge that when Seth Rollins and his best friend Cesaro are travelling together, it is The Swiss Superman who drives the duo around most of the time. However, when the Shield drives together, it is the Architect who takes the wheel.

Rollins commented on this fact in the episode and stated that he is always the driver, Dean Ambrose is always in the passenger seat (or the wingman) and Roman Reigns is always in the back seat where he usually falls asleep.

It seems that Rollins doesn't actually mind driving his friends around; he is just happy to have something to complain about.

#4 Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose tried to replace Rollins

When The Shield split back in 2014, the trio were no longer allowed to travel together since they were no longer a group and the company couldn't risk them being seen together and the WWE Universe then picking holes in what was set to be a deeply personal feud.

Because Rollins did all of the driving, Dean and Roman needed to find someone to drive them after he began travelling with Cesaro. It seems that Bo Dallas volunteered for the position and the first day that Bo was supposed to drive Roman and Dean, Rollins drove past them at the side of the road because it seems that the car had run out of fuel because no one had bothered to fill it up.

Rollins just added this to the long list of reasons why his Shield brethren would be lost without him.

#1 Seth Rollins owns land

WWE stars have been known to buy some extravagant things when they become huge stars and are finally gaining a regular income.

It seems that former WWE Champion Seth Rollins is no different; he revealed that when Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose next go to Iowa with him, he wants to show them that he's now the owner of some land.

Rollins said that he now has nine acres of land to his name in his home state even though he hasn't yet decided what he will be doing with this new acquisition.

Rollins obviously has his own wrestling training school in Iowa called Black and Brave so this could well be another idea of his to extend the school in the coming years.
