#4 A possible character change for Roman Reigns?

Roman Reigns has been booked really well by WWE over the last year. While he has used heel tactics on many occasions to win his matches, he has still been very dominant. Reigns is "the" champion in the company right now and he has emphasized on many occasions how no one has been able to defeat him.

We have seen Roman Reigns tell Jey and Jimmy Uso on multiple occasions not to ruin the name of the family. If he loses to John Cena at SummerSlam, he would, by his own logic, ruin the name of his family. While WWE might not completely change his character, we might see slight changes in his Tribal Chief gimmick.

#3 It could be John Cena's last run as a world champion in WWE

John Cena is one of the most accomplished superstars in WWE history. He is currently tied with Ric Flair for most world championship reigns in the promotion, at 16 each. If he defeats Roman Reigns at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship, he would beat Flair's record.

John Cena's last world title reign came in 2017 when he defeated AJ Styles at Royal Rumble to win the WWE Championship. He has since mostly been away from the title picture. If Cena does win the Universal Championship, it could very well be his last run as a world champion in WWE.
