#4 Bayley's SmackDown Women's Title reign passes the one-year mark

Ever since a month after she and Sasha Banks lost the Women's Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 35, Bayley has been the focal point of the SmackDown women's division. She won the Blue brand's Women's Championship at Money in the Bank 2019 and has kept hold of it ever since, except for a 5-day-long Charlotte Flair reign in October.

Bayley defeated Charlotte on the second episode of SmackDown on FOX to regain the belt, sporting a radical change in her appearance. It has been nine months since that moment and she is going from strength to strength, especially with Sasha Banks in her corner.

If her best friend also gets a singles title for herself at Extreme Rules, Bayley's own reign will be extended by default. The two would have a dominant run holding all the Women's Championships available on the main roster, with the end of the story possibly only coming once paid crowds are back in arenas.

If Bayley vs Sasha Banks does not happen at SummerSlam, the former 'Hugger' will likely not drop her title until the next major event at least. This would mean that Bayley stays as the SmackDown Women's Champion past October 11th, completing a full year with the title.
